Linden Oaks Behavioral Health is an alcohol and drug addiction treatment facility that is located at 852 West St. in Naperville, Illinois. Treating substance abuse involves multiple stages of treatment through a recovery program such as that offered by Linden Oaks Behavioral Health. This can include group counseling, individual counseling, outpatient treatment, inpatient treatment, and medically assisted detox, among many others. Treatment programs are based on the individual themselves and are constructed to suit each patient individually. Just as every person is unique, so should treatment programs and that is exactly what patients will receive at Linden Oaks Behavioral Health.
If addicts do not obtain the right type of support and guidance, they may find treatment to be very difficult as the thought of sobriety can seem so far-fetched. At Linden Oaks Behavioral Health, professional counseling and guidance are provided to all patients aged 18+, giving them the strength needed in order to obtain a life that is free of drug and alcohol addiction. By altering the patient's outlook on life through addiction treatment, they will be able to stay positive throughout the duration of rehab.
The staff members at Linden Oaks Behavioral Health have a mission and that is to give patients effective and quality addiction treatment so that long-lasting sobriety can be obtained. The path to a positive future starts on a positive foot and that begins at Linden Oaks Behavioral Health. Confronting addiction is a difficult thing to do, but it is the most important step in the recovery process. Through professional counseling during the patient's time in treatment, patients will learn coping skills and trigger management which is imperative to the success of maintaining sobriety.
Maintaining sobriety on one's own is extremely difficult, especially when the addict has tried to go 'cold turkey' on their own. This is because it requires medically-assisted detox in order to properly and safely wean the body off of the substance of abuse. This way the body does not go through sudden withdrawal nor experience harsh side effects. Linden Oaks Behavioral Health can provide patients with all of the necessary tools, treatments, and resources so that patients have every opportunity to succeed in recovery.

Honestly I’m a better person now thanks to the staff with the kids Hannah and Claire r great at their jobs I miss them very much but it was the right thing to leave
They took us! The visitation is bad I drive 1.5 hrs to get there don't appreciate being brought in late then have to leave on time! Also don't like the inconsistent rules..one leaves a pen in room other refuses to let us have rubber bands to keep pants up..n they want people to go through their system instead of understanding there is a plan..we were referred..one last thing you could hang yourself with your shirt if you need Ted hose come on..I do like staff just some inconsistent things..
My son was recently admitted to the adolescent inpatient area. The intake was pretty bad. I had no idea what was happening and it gave me a bad feeling. Once my son got onto the unit and he realized that he was there for his safety, things were much better. He stayed 5 days and really loved the food. He is now in the outpatient program and is learning a lot. It’s a great program but parents have to do a lot to know what’s going on, I felt out of the loop at first. All in all, with the places that are around the Chicagoland area, this is a great one considering the choices. My son says if he ever has a problem again, he would love to go back if he had to. This program is also one of only a few places that has a specific program to deal with self harming. Research the places you take yourself or your children before you bring them there if you have a choice. This is a good place.
My son was in the eating disorder unit for a little over 2 months. 2 weeks in the in-patient unit and 2 months in out-patient. Every staff member was so amazing and supportive. They brought my son back to life.
I’ve been through 2 programs at linden oaks (both outpatient) they do an amazing job of helping you adjust in and out of the program, it is so much better than I ever would’ve expected. The feeling there is so safe and the therapists are understanding and helpful. They teach amazing skills for dealing with my anxiety and depression and I know many people who have successfully discharged from this hospital and continue to get better. The assessment process is very long but it is worth it and does help. But I did learn that inorder for this to help you have to be willing and open to treatment. You get out of it what you put into it. I learned to put my all in and I came out better, I still struggle (a lot) but when I went in I was suicidal and honestly probably would’ve done it. But almost 6 months from my original assessment and I am still her which is so much better than I would’ve thought. If you need help give linden oaks a chance (a real open minded chance) it will help.
18 months later and still sober thank you to the staff at Linden Oaks for the critical start in my journey to sobriety. My stay was very comfortable and enjoyable the staff was very helpful and enjoyable to be around thank you again for all your help.
The ER staff is okey. It's my second choice when it comes to care for future, myself and other family because the service is okey for such a well-known hospital. Two in-patients stays and I would like to Thank all who made the effort to make my stay okey.
